Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities

Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (the Act) came into force in 2005 and sets out a clear goal and time frame to make Ontario accessible by 2025.
Here is what the Retail Council has posted which is fairly well done and then add the other tools listed below that are not in duplication: http://www.retailcouncil.org/advocacy/ontario-accessibility-reporting-deadline-by-yearend

Ontario now has accessibility standards in five areas:
  • Customer service
  • Employment
  • Information and communications
  • Transportation
  • Design of public spaces

For a wealth of information on AODA and to obtain all tools/templates and other resources it is recommended you visit the following page:  http://www.mcss.gov.on.ca/en/mcss/programs/accessibility/info_sheets/index.aspx
