National Tree Day will serve as a celebration for all Canadians to appreciate the great benefits that trees provide us - clean air, wildlife habitat, reducing energy demand and connecting with nature. 27-28 Barkfest Dog Festival & Harvest Fall Food Fair
Essa Agriplex (minutes from Barrie)
In partnership with Foodland Ontario the Fair will feature a Farmer’s Market Village with local producers and artisanal foods, gourmet food and flower contests, horticultural displays, original arts and crafts, giant pumpkins and more. Landscape Ontario members and horticultural enthusiasts are invited to compete in the ‘Best Harvest Fall Display,’ ‘Best Scarecrow Contest,’ and ‘Pumpkin Carving’ contests with a portion of the entry fee being donated to COPE.
