Who we are
The BC Landscape & Nursery Association (BCLNA) is a non-profit organization working to serve BC's ornamental horticulture growers, landscape professionals, retail garden centres and the associated horticulture trade. BCLNA has more than 800 member companies, representing nursery, landscape, retail, education, supply, service, and government organizations working in the landscape horticultural industry.
The original organization was formed in 1953 and today is a vibrant association that offers member companies leadership, information, and services, toward the development of more knowledgeable and responsible horticulture practices. A major focus of BCLNA is the development of landscape and nursery standards that protect both homeowners and professionals. BCLNA works with other partners to encourage quality landscape standards and practices, and provides strong leadership in promoting homeowner and industry use of environmentally responsible practices.
Together, we promote quality horticulture-related education, continued professional development, Landscape Industry Certification, and encourage the highest levels of workmanship and environmental sensitivity in the nursery and landscape trades.
