Floris (Fred) Evers

The funeral service for Floris (Fred) Evers took place on Dec. 22, 2014, at Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre in Leamington. Evers passed away suddenly on November 29, 2014, in the Barbados.

He was born on April 15, 1947 in The Netherlands. He is survived by his wife Ann Evers and his four children, Tony (Stephanie), Yvonne (Tim Hodgson), Fred (Jen), and Ron (Sandy). He is the proud Opa of Zak, Macy and Noel Hodgson, and Troy and Gavin Evers.

Evers was the former owner of Evers Landscaping, Kingsville. He was a member of Landscape Ontario, and was part of a group that organized the Ontario Gardening Maintenance and Landscaping Association. He served that association as treasurer for many years.
