Originally from Vietnam, Nguyen decided to pivot from her career in the financial sector toward a greener future by enrolling in the two-year Landscape Technician diploma program at Humber College.

Katie Erickson was one of 12 recipients of the $1,000 Post-Secondary Scholarship awarded by the Ontario Horticultural Trades Foundation (OHTF) in 2022.

Keegan Stribbell was recently awarded a $600 Apprenticeship Scholarship from the Ontario Horticultural Trades Foundation.

Students can submit a new design or past project from any of their classes for the chance to win up to $10,000 USD.

The Leaside Garden Society Founders' Scholarship awards $2,000 to a student in a horticulture-related program.
