Business input needed on next phase of online WSIB tool
WSIB’s Compass tool was introduced in October 2017 to provide Ontarians with a simple way to shine a light on the health and safety statistics of their workplaces. This online tool currently allows anyone to find and compare businesses using any combination of name, type or size to get a sense of where they stand on injury rates, parts of body injured, and percentage of lost-time claims.
The next phase of Compass will be introduced in late 2019. This updated version will include a secure portal where employers can log in to view claims, injury rates and other details specific to their businesses. WSIB is seeking input on Compass from stakeholders using a survey. The survey will collect feedback on its proposed design and will help guide the final design of the tool.
If you wish to participate, the survey is open until February 26, 2019.
