Ottawa Catholic School Board offers free 8-week landscaping program

Obtain essential skills for a career in the horticulture and landscape profession

The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is offering a FREE 8-week landscape and horticulture course that includes hands-on training and a 2-week job placement.

Explore your interest in horticulture and landscaping, cost free and risk-free.

 

• Obtain certifications in Health & Safety, First Aid, WHMIS and customer service.
• Learn directly from local industry guest speakers, have on-site tours, and job placement with horticulture and landscape companies.

Participants must be 19 years of age or older, an Ontario resident, unemployed or under-employed, and have an interest in exploring a career in landscape and horticulture.

Info sessions will be held:
Wed. March 21, 2018, 10:30-12:30 or 1:00-3:00
Mon. March 26, 1:00-3:00
St. Nicholas Adult High School, Central Campus
20 Graham Ave., Rm. 012

Program dates:
April 3 to May 30, 2018
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Including job placement May 14-25, 2018
