Official ribbon cutting and unveiling held Oct. 1 at John Graves Simcoe Public School in Kingston.
Fanshawe College students, dressed in their distinctive red, offered their services to help guide volunteers to plant over 400 trees along the Veterans Memorial Parkway in London.

Waterloo Chapter donation

$13,500 donation split between three charities.
Members of the Landscape Ontario provincial board of directors were joined by CNLA staff at LO home office in Milton to take part in planting trees on National Tree Day, Sept. 25. In recognition of the day, two ‘Purple Fountain’ beech trees were planted.

National Tree Day was a proud time for the Waterloo Chapter as members took part in the cutting of the ribbon to open new garden area at Elmira District Secondary School.

Waterloo has greened many region schools

Chapter members have always been very supportive of greening schools.
The Golden Horseshoe Chapter’s move to build community relationships was popular with the students at King’s Road Elementary School in Burlington. The Chapter organized a tree planting day as part of Arbor Day.
