Giving back to the Windsor area community

Lending a helping hand in Windsor

Landscape Ontario (LO) members living and working in the Windsor area volunteered time and materials to update the grounds around the Safety Village last fall. Children, parents and teachers using this community resource now enjoy learning in a rejuvenated outdoor environment. Members will complete phase two of the garden renovation this year.

Several years ago, LO members designed and built gardens at the Hospice of Windsor. In the years since, members continue to update and maintain the gardens annually.

Last year, landscape lighting was installed in the arbors within the Solidarity gardens, allowing extended use of the restful gardens.
