The Horticultural Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program, combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction, allowing students to earn while they learn and preparing them for in-demand careers.
This free training program gives you everything you need to get started — from safety gear, tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), to help with transportation and subsidies for accommodations. The program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) and is delivered by Landscape Ontario.
