Rain Ready Rebate Program: Hamilton 2025

This year's Rain Ready Hamilton Rebate program opens Apr. 22, 2025. Applications close June 1, 2025.
The Stormwater Residential Rebate Program helps applicants get their homes rain ready by addressing stormwater needs on a site by site basis.
Hamilton residents are eligible for up to $5,000. Applicants can apply for two funding tiers: up to $1,500 and up to $5,000.
The Rain Ready Rebate is funded by the City of Hamilton.
Application requirements:
- The proposed project is within the City of Hamilton.
- You can complete the project in 2025 with all reimbursement forms submitted correctly by Sept. 30, 2025.
- You are the homeowners of the residence, or you have written permission from the homeowner allowing you to carry out the project.
- You attended at least one of Green Ventures educational sessions or review the specific education materials.
Rebate program timeline:

| Apr. 23-June 22: | In-person and virtual rebate coaching sessions are available |
| June 23: | Deadline for application notification. Work can commence as soon as applicants receive their approval notification. |
| Sept. 30: | Expense and reporting deadline for applicants. |
| Oct. 31: | All rebate cheques mail out deadline. |
