About Us – Landscape Alberta

Landscape Alberta Nursery Trades Association is a voluntary trade association for businesses in the green industry across Alberta.

Founded in 1957, Landscape Alberta is the official trade association
for the ornamental horticultural industry in Alberta. Landscape Alberta
members are involved in every facet of the industry, including nursery
and sod production, landscape construction and maintenance (including
lawn and tree care), retail garden centres and industry suppliers

The Association works to develop a professional and skilled industry,
and promotes awareness of the many benefits of beautiful, healthy and
purposeful outdoor environments. Landscape Alberta programs and services
help members develop business management and technical skills, save
money and promote themselves. Member businesses have access to
professional development tools, industry publications, and endorsed
supplier programs for a myriad of business needs like insurance coverage
and equipment discounts.

Landscape Alberta advocates the industry’s interests and concerns at
various government levels and maintains inter-industry relationships
with other associations and groups within the green industry. Landscape
Alberta is a member of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association.

Landscape Alberta is governed through a Board of Directors made up of
individuals who are active members of the Association. The various
industry sectors are represented within the Association through
sector-specific groups.
