Join us as we support the 4th Annual YQGgreen Expo in October!

Landscape Ontario’s Windsor Chapter will host a Truck Garden Competition just outside the doors of the WFCU. Grow your imagination and transform your truck into a rolling garden masterpiece! Whether you’re planting, landscaping, decorating, or simply thinking outside the box, bring your biggest ideas and let your creativity take the wheel.

YQGgreen Expo is a free public event that highlights local sustainable businesses, recycling programs, and green technology.
- Green Trade Show: Up to 50 booths featuring local eco-friendly businesses.
- Recycle Drop-Off: Drive-thru and drop-off stations hosted with city departments.
- Expert Panels: Discussions on environmental action and circular economies.
- Youth Activities: Career corners and a kids' robotics competition.

What to expect when entering the competition:

Space Allotment
- 18′ x 40′
Approved building space/platform:
- Pickup Trucks
- Small Dump Trucks/Fold down side trucks
- Small Utility Trailers
- Small Dump Trailers
Garden Features:
- Be as creative as you want!!
Mandatory Elements:
- Must utilize at least four different elements in the “garden”.
  - Hardscape focused gardens must include some softscape elements.
Helpful tips or things to think about:
- A variety of materials / plants.
- Some variation in “levels”.
- What will catch someone’s eye?
- Use of a focal element.
- Try to use leftover materials from your lots.
- If utilizing a pickup truck bed, how do you want the garden to be viewed?
What to bring alongside the garden display?
- Tent
- Company signage
- Service/product information sheets
- Chairs/Table
- Refreshments
