We’re looking for local volunteers to join us for a meaningful day of planting, community, and giving back. The Trees for Life Hero Forest Project is coming to Bala Sports Park and we’d love your support — whether it’s your time, skills, or helping hands.
When: Monday, April 20, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Rain date is April 22)
Where: Bala Sports Park, 3224 Muskoka Rd 169, Bala
Schedule:
8:00 AM: Women in Landscaping Breakfast Pratt’s Garden Centre
9:00 AM: Meet at Bala Sports Park and begin planting (rain or shine)
12:30 PM: Lunch for volunteers at Pratt’s Garden Centre
How you can help:
- Volunteer for planting and tree care
- Skilled labour for building supports/protection
- Equipment support on-site
This initiative is all about restoring our environment, strengthening our community, and creating something that will last for generations.
