Another old favourite that has made a strong comeback has been the new breeding work on the Rose 'Knock Out' series. These are shrub roses that have been selected to be disease tolerant, so in our greener world of not spraying, a 'Knock Out' rose will bloom without needing protection from black spot and mildew. Available in a wide range of colours, we still like the soft red tone of 'Knock Out Red'. A few years ago, the series introduced a double flower that will steal your heart.
