Becoming a member of Landscape Ontario (LO) is more than filling out a form — it’s a commitment to excellence. Every member has also pledged to uphold LO’s Statement of Conduct, Principles and Ethics. This statement includes principles like: acting fairly and honestly toward customers and maintaining the confidence and trust of clients in the profession.
By showcasing your membership, you signal to potential clients you are a properly insured, educated and verified professional who makes a difference in local communities and the lives of clients.
There are several effective ways to showcase this professional commitment.
Use your online member profile
A simple way to highlight your partnership with LO is to create an online profile to appear on landscapeontario.com. This tool allows current members in good standing (Green Trade Member, Green Trade Sole Proprietor or Green Trade Supplier) to promote their business directly to homeowners across the province. Setting up your profile is easy:
1. Create an account at members.landscapeontario.com.
2. Once signed in, click Company Profile > Manage my Business Listing.
3. Add your business description, logos, project photos and contact information. Homeowners can find you through the Find a Landscape Professional feature by selecting a service (such as Excavator) and the town or city they require the service. The search generates a randomized list of businesses that fit those parameters, making it a great way to showcase your best work under a trusted association brand.
Landscape Ontario promotional material
To help you brand your business as a member in good standing, LO offers a variety of promotional materials, including vehicle decals, window stickers and more. These items are free of charge for members to pick up at our head office in Milton, Ont., and items can be shipped to you for a small fee.
Members can also download and print a Certificate of Membership to display in their office. To access yours, visit members.landscapeontario.com, click on My Dashboard and look for the Download digital membership certificate box on the left.

Use the logo
The Landscape Ontario member logo is available in various colours to suit different backgrounds. Please note the “Member of” logo is reserved for current members in good standing. Introductory members, individual members, students and teachers are not permitted to use the logo.
To receive the logo, contact me at my email below and specify which format you require:
• Electronic use: (website, email signatures): .PNG format.
• Commercial print: (magazine advertising, flyers, business cards): 300 dpi .TIF or .PSD format.
• Signage and vehicle wraps: .EPS or .AI (scalable vector formats).
