Landscape Ontario members are invited to participate at the 2019 Landscape Ontario Job Fair.

You must confirm if your organization is a member of Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association (registration form). If you are not a member, no worries, your application will still be considered and your organization's request will be accommodated on a first come first served basis. 
 
The target group is youth 18 to 29 who are out of work/school, able to commence work immediately and looking for employment in the landscaping field or entry level trades and construction.  In addition, the event has been expanded to include adults and students supported by the same employment service sector group including Toronto Employment & Social Services and over 30 Toronto Not-for-Profit Employment Agencies from the Youth Employment Partnerships Network. 

We expect over 200 participants to attend this event. This job fair is specifically geared to participants that have indicated an interest to work in the landscaping and construction sector. Many may already have landscape work experience, from entry level to more experienced and specialized. 

Youth are supported through the City of Toronto and community partner networks. They are prepared for opportunities in the landscaping sector will attend from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The event will then open up to all job seekers from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Booth space is limited and will therefore be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.  
 
Employers will receive a 6 ft. x 2.5 ft. table that can accommodate two representatives plus a display of company materials.  There is no cost for participation as the goal of the City of Toronto is to connect residents seeking landscaping jobs with employers in the landscaping sector that have job opportunities and are currently recruiting.
