Trained participants from the Horticultural Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program will be ready to work this fall in the Toronto, Hamilton and London areas. This FREE program provides all participants with tools, PPE and Level 1 Apprenticeship training, allowing them to learn all the practical skills they need to get started as a member of your crew.
As part of the program, employers can hire program participants for fall work placements; wages will be subsidized by the program up to $250 per week, to a maximum of $3,000 for 8-12 week placements.
This free training program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and is delivered by Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association in partnership with Humber College, Mohawk College, and Fanshawe College.
