John Lavoie passed away Oct. 20, 2025, following complications from a scheduled heart surgery.
A cherished member of the team at Grand River Natural Stone, Lavoie was respected not only for his professionalism and dedication, but also for his kindness, honesty and the deep relationships he built with co-workers and clients. He approached every interaction with genuine care and integrity, and he made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Lavoie was more than a coworker, he was a friend. He had a unique ability to connect with people on a personal level, always taking the time to listen, offer support and go the extra mile. His passing is a profound loss to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
A celebration of life was held Nov. 8 in London, Ont.
